Energizing Green Smoothie
Green smoothies can actually taste great with the right ingredients! I happened to make this on St. Patrick's Day when I was visiting Maui, HI. I added fresh cut pineapple and it went so well with the fresh lime and spinach. Avocado makes the smoothie creamy, and then you don't need to add yogurt or banana but you can if you would like to. Cilantro gave this smoothie an extra boost of fresh herb flavor, I love cilantro. Enjoy! Tip: If you want to substitute the spinach for kale you can, both are full of B vitamins and calcium. Healthy tip: Cilantro is a great detoxifying herb for the liver. It is also a natural diuretic that can help with bloating and water retention. Ingredients:
